Yep - they got hosed by GM there, or perhaps saved? I’m not sure the GM Wankel was ready for prime time.
Apparently the Monza was designed around that engine, too - helping make maintenance on the SBC-equipped cars a nightmare.

Well, it has been retrofitted with a 350. So, with a rare motor like that, the price needs to increase over stock by $5 at least.
